We got our 2011 Fishing License, who else got there’s?
Last Saturday my wife and I finally picked up our 2011 Fishing License after 2 years. The whole fishing license process is so different! No more buying “tear-out ticket” licenses. Now during purchase, your entire information on your driver’s license is entered/recorded in the Department of Fish & Game’s online system. Everything comes out to $43 and some changes. The only freebie included in your license is a Striper Sticker.

Now that I have my fishing license, I’m pumped! I’m already thinking of the new gear I want to get and the spots I want to hit up after all this time being away from fishing. My wife and I usually go to coast of Sausalito to catch big size rubber lip perch, rainbow pearch and silver perch. I would give this spot away but this is my cousin Henry’s spot that he keeps to himself and few others, but we’ll see…lol! But check out this Halibut he caught in Alameda and the Perch that we usually catch in Sausalito. I got old pics of my fish but I still got to dig them up. On my next few post, you’ll see them. The other two spots we go to up the coast are Pacifica and the beaches in Half Moon Bay. If we go with family and/or a big group (especially when kids are there), we usually stick with Pacifica since it’s convenient and not too hard to get around. There, we usually get dungeness and rock crab, for fish we catch small Perch and King Fish. The only time we’ll fish in Half Moon Bay is when we search out beaches, were you have to walk quite a distance but when you find the perfect spot, it’ll be worth the hunt!
So what’s up? I’m down to fish! I know a few of you been waiting for me to get my license, so I did! Erickson? Steve Irie? Manny? Mikey? Let got to hook up! If anybody else besides the 4 I mentioned wants to hook up, then comment below and let’s make this happen for 2011!
