I went fishing in Half Moon Bay, Pescadero Beach and Pillar Point Harbor
This morning we headed out to Half Moon Bay and started fishing at Pescadero State Beach around 8:30 am. We stayed there for about an hour or so. The waves were hitting too hard and there wasn’t any good action. My buddy Reece caught a baby Halibut and I got a small Dungeness crab.

Around 9:30 am we headed to Pillar Point Harbor. We didn’t fish where the boats where but on the rock wall. This spot gave us a little action. My buddy Reece first caught a 42 inch Sand Shark.

… Then I caught 2 baby Halibut (threw them back)

… An ugly looking Scorpion Fish (threw it back)

… A barely legal size Dungeness crab (threw it back)

Today was a good day even though we didn’t get to bring home anything special. It was all about hanging out with good friends and being with family. The weather was around 72 degrees, not bad at all for February! And finally, it was nice breathing in fresh air and hearing the waves crash.
